Our modern practice specializes in endoscopies of gastrointestinal tracts and offers compassionate, comfortable care in a beautiful environment.
For self-payers, we offer individual health services, such as gastroscopies, colonoscopies, PillCam endoscopies for the colon and small intestine, as well as ultrasound exams.
For standard endoscopies we use gastroscopes or colonoscopes, which comprise flexible tubes equipped with a small digital camera and an illumination source. These flexible telescopes are skillfully inserted into your small intestine via your mouth and stomach, or into your colon via your rectum.
All examinations are painless as they are performed under sedation.
PillCam Endoscopies for the Colon and Small Intestine
The PillCam™ COLON 2 system allows for direct visualization of the colon. This innovative capsule endoscopy solution provides clear images of the colon to support the detection of polyps with a minimally invasive, patient-friendly device.(Medtronic.com) Please note that if the PillCam™ detects any polyps, they should be removed through a standard colonoscopy.
